Skylarks and flowers are signs of spring in Victoria. In this case, a group of kids on the rooftop of their apartment building are waiting with their spray paint for Skylark so they can all go out "hitting their names". To paraphrase the artist Claes Oldenberg, everything is grey and gloomy and all of a sudden up pops a graffti roofline like a big bouquet. It must be spring.
